Professor Ragunathan (Raj) Rajkumar
CMU Autonomous Driving Research & Engineering team
I completed my Ph.D. in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. I am a active member of the Real-Time & Multimedia Systems Laboratory and CMU Autonomous Driving Research & Engineering team, under the supervision of Professor Ragunathan (Raj) Rajkumar. Prior to joining CMU in 2015, I worked as a Researcher in the Artificial Intelligence Group at Microsoft Research Asia. My research contributions have been recognized with Best Paper Nomination at RTCSA '19. I was a recipient of the Funai Overseas Scholarship Award.
I am going to lead a research group at Tokyo, Japan from April 2021 and actively searching for MS/Ph.D. students and Postdoc. Please feel free to contact me!
My research interests are in the design and development of life-critical Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS), Networked Embedded Systems, and Distributed Systems, such as autonomous vehicles, unmanned aerial vehicles, multi-robot systems and intelligent medical devices. I have also been working on artificial intelligent, wireless communications, and mobile computing through my internship experience.
